The Task Force for Asian American Progressive Advocacy and Studies (TAPAS)is a non-hierarchical progressive student group rooted in the tradition of the 70’s Asian American Movement.

Celebrating Asian American art, academics, and history while fighting for a host of kindred causes.

We were founded in 2016 to advocate for Ethnic Studies at Harvard College.

Breaking off from a larger progressive Asian American organization, our predecessor, The Task Force on Asian Pacific American Studies threw itself into the ongoing four-decade fight for Ethnic Studies at Harvard.

Now, we focus on a broad range of Asian American issues.

Whether advocating for anti-eviction legislation, holding educational events on AAPI history, or creating zines, TAPAS engages in a variety of activities and is totally member driven.

“You will prevail.”
